I BELIEVE

From Memorial Day through Flag Day, June 14th to 4th of July we celebrate America. Throughout this month I would like to share my thoughts of America. Take the time this month to read the Constitution and understand the greatness of the document. Please pledge to defend this document against those who would want to destroy it!!


I Believe in America .."We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common Defense, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America."


I Believe in the USA and proud to be an American Yes, I am proud to be an American because we have freedom of choice guaranteed by the constitution and it makes me feel good. I have the choice of who I choose as friends and who I want to run the country. I can speak freely what I feel and believe. I am proud and feel safe because we have a brave military and police officers that help keep us safe. I know our brave soldiers and officers will put their life on the line to protect me, my friends, my family and fellow Americans.


I stand with a smile on my face and my chest swells when I pledge allegiance to the American Flag or sing the National Anthem because I am proud to be an American.


I Believe America is great but not without faults. We are not perfect. I believe we can become better in every aspect. It is up to each one of us to help improve our country. To end prejudice and racism, to function as "one nation under God”.


Loving America means finding fault with it. Pointing out our flaws and working to fix them. It is not “hating America” as some would say. It’s loving America enough to be honest about our flaws in order to fix them and make the country

better
